The labour distribution in the industrial sector demonstrates a significant trend away from farm employment toward non-farm work. About 60% of the workers worked in the primary sector in 1999–2000, but this percentage fell to 37.2% in 2009–2010. Increases from 16% to 21.5% and 24% to 25.3 respectively were seen in the secondary and tertiary sectors. It is clear from this that the economy is improving.
