iii. Pakistan has the fastest population increase, followed by India and China. The primary cause of China's slow population growth is the one-child limit, which was adopted there in the late 1970s. Additionally, they claim that this action decreased the sex ratio or the number of women for every 1000 men.
iv. In all three of the countries, the sex ratio is unbalanced and low in favor of women. Strong son preference is prevalent in these nations.
