Breathing is a biophysical process that involves the exchange of gases through inhalation and exhalation. Breathing is also called external respiration or pulmonary respiration by which atmospheric air is drawn in and throws carbon dioxide out via respiratory organs. Respiration: The oxygen in alveoli will diffuse in the capillaries. These capillaries will transport the oxygenated blood to heart, heart will pump the blood to different body tissues. In respiration, the oxygen is used to breakdown the glucose to release energy.
