Solution

(a)Copper(metals) react with sulphuric acid and produce sulphuric dioxide and water. Copper + Sulphuric acid → Copper sulphate + sulphur dioxide (b) Iron is more reactive than copper and thus displaces copper from copper sulphate solution to form iron sulphate and copper metal. Iron + Copper sulphate → Iron sulphate + Copper.
