We need sweet dreams, health and quiet breathing in our lives as they refresh us and give eternal joy and remove our sorrows and sufferings. Thus, we want to remain bound to the earth.

The pain was due to the fear of getting separated from her mother and the realization that she had not cared enough for her. She suppressed it by smiling again and again at her and by promising to meet her soon.
